China produces 2.52mln units of automobiles in March

Beijing, 20 Apr (Antaike)--China produced 2.52mln units of automobiles in March, up by 56.38% month on month and 10.26% year on year; sales were 2.44mln units, up by 54.31% month on month and 8.76% year on year.

Of which output of passenger cars was 2.14mln units, up by 52.83% month on month and 10.97% year on year; sales were 2.06mln units, down by 49.32% month on month and 9.76% year on year.

Output of commercial vehicle was 377,100 units, up by 80.12% month on month and 6.42% year on year; sales were 384,000 units, up by 87.88% month on month and 3.75% year on year.

Total output and sales of automobiles were 6.59mln units and 6.53mln units respectively during the first three months, an increase of 6.18% and 5.98% year on year.
